Short version: What are my options for a good performing missile boat for pvp? I don't have a high income.
Long version: Hey folks. I'm a fairly new player who can't get enough of watching his missiles crash into the side of his adversaries. I haven't yet acquired the knack for fitting out ships or analyzing their potential side by side. Even still, I've looked into a few different ships with lots of launcher hardpoints for some ideas, and I have a few questions. If you could address a few of them, that'd be great. When doing so, you should know that I'm looking into mid-game setups (3-4 mil skill points) with enough umph to be fun for pvp. I probably won't have an income to be able to afford larger ships (i.e. battleships), but they are still something to look forward to as a possibility. And, silly as it sounds, the look of the ship matters to me. :P
1. Should I look into larger, slower craft with lots of hp and hardpoints (i.e. Sacrilege, Raven, Caracal), or smaller, faster craft to do my dirtywork (i.e. Breacher, Kestrel, Vengeance). 2. Are missile-based interceptors feasible, or should I just stop chasing that dream? 3. Do the Gallente or Amarr even have any ships that will perform well as missile platforms in pvp?
Thanks very much for your feedback!

Thanks for the quick tip.
I'm not a fan of the way Caldari ships look, so the Gallente/Amarr news is good news. Should I consider the threads in the Ship Setups Index sticky above sound even though they're dated? The ship layouts in them rarely favor missiles. The various setups in the Sacrilege thread (for instance) don't have any that rely principally upon missiles for damage.

The Crow looks to be very missile friendly. Is it true that interceptors can occasionally take out cruisers (like it says in their lore)? Does outfitting them for tackling detract much from their ability to take on larger ships?
The Drake: now there's a sick looking Caldari vessel. I could love that one.

I guess my question then becomes which missile-based vessels of the other races are competitive in pvp?
